ok soo maybe not that drastic, but hey who knows what i’ll be thinking and saying during my dillusional state as a new mother pumped full of drugs from my epidural after giving birth to a miniture sized human.

I do intend on naming my children with different (hopefully unique names for that generation)  that kids at school will envy them for (i don’t care if their names sound stupid as adults…it’s all about the coolness rating in primary and high school that counts in life).

so there are a select few that i have thought about…not that i’m planning on popping anything out of me in the near future…GEEZ! i’m getting a puppy first!…oh and the hours spent trying to figure out the perfect name for the little fluff ball will be fun!

the fact these guys even thought of doing this and then went ahead and made the whole thing, with 5 million peices of Lego and then rolled it down a hill in (i think) San Francisco, makes them tops in my books!

I’m heading over to the states in a mere 20 days (insert gasp of anticipation mixed with raw terrified scream of not being ready yet) to do Summer camp. And as i have no idea what to take to represent this great land of ours i thought i’d grab some suggestions from the outragously good-looking public.

I have to get myself a large australian flag (that’s easy thanx to paddys markets), but was wanting to take a Mascot of some sort. Australian mascot would be preferable…maybe a Blinky Bill stuffed toy, or something along those lines.

This Mascot will not only travel to the states with me, it will also come on day trips, touristy outings and american adventures with me. the mascot will pretty much be attached to my side the whole time (apart from nightlife adventures…i don’t want to soil it’s eyes with drunken ways after dark).

In my (most probably) weekly Blogs i will post photos of Mascot (name suggestions also requested…though they don’t need to have to do with your mascot suggestion) on our adventures…maybe even disneyland…let’s wait and see!

I have just come across the best website called Colorwars 2008’s. It’s a random fun website with crazy quirky games that involve anyone who wishes to submit their entries. my favourites are the bad caption comp, the Broom Game (mostly just to see people fall over sober) and youngme-knowme project, which invites readers to submit photos of themselves posing as they did in photos taken of them as children.  It’s really cool! Yes it’s true, nearly everyone of my uni friends (and by uni friends i mean they went to uni whilst i couldn’t be bothered with hex debts and further stress of studying) use the word procrastination alot! and i have to sadly admit i had no idea what the hell they meant everytime they would mention procrastinating over essays, assignments and being a world champion rodeo cowboy, until last year.

I ended giving up all my self dignity of looking slightly intelligent, by asking a friend what the word meant -

pro·cras·ti·nate

I realised that my life revolved around this glorified term. everyday i would go to work, sit down at the desk and, yes that’s right, PROCRASTINATE! my routine revolved around me checking the emails in the inbox, clicking on (my favourite word in the web dictionary) Facebook. I would then trawl away on facebook for hours, waiting for a friend to comment, invite or message me with the inner workings of their mind at that very minute.

If i wasn’t (or am not) procrastinating on facebook, myspace or any other web related social network where there might be a glimpse of a neverending conversation about a three headed serpant that cares for bunnies, i’ll either have given into the consistent phone calls (Why do people think, as the receptionist, it’s my job to listen to their life stories instead of just leaving their name and number), the bucket load of work i have to do…or the worst  and most deadliest of all…My Imagination!

In just one hour i had imagined i had left for america (i leave in 21 days for those playing at home), arrived in Ireland not New York, tripped over a leprechaun, followed him to the end of the rainbow where he would grant me three wishes, only got 2 granted before the sneaky bugger stole my camera and then i was stuck in a meadow in the middle of nowhere defending myself against these purple eyed witches (you know, the kind in that roald dahl book that was made into a movie, Witches).

I know i should have gone to university and done a creative writing degree…my parents always thought i should be an author, apart from a certain period where my dad thought i should do meterology because of my interest in the weather and tornado’s.  

Well i think i’ve spat out enough junk for one Blog
